Boy Caught Saying Pledge Of Allegiance On Security Camera

One Utah family decided to install security cameras outside their home as an added security measure, but never expected that something caught on their cameras would make national news.

Earlier this month, mom Emily Zarr was reviewing the security footage from earlier in the day when she caught her neighbor’s eight-year-old son, who was stopping by to see if her son wanted to play, doing something unusual before walking up to the door and ringing the bell.

Zarr took a closer look and turned up the volume, and realized that eight-year-old Wyatt Warner had stopped to say the pledge of allegiance when he saw the American flag hanging outside the front door. Jami sent the video to Wyatt’s mom, Jami Warner, who wasn’t surprised by what she saw.

“I cheered up when I saw it. I thought it so sweet and so cute. It’s just like my Wyatt. Everything he does, he does 100 percent,” said Jami, who has tried to teach Wyatt to appreciate how privileged he is to live in a free country. “We have people in our family who have served. He really does love the country.”

“A lot of people don’t see that sweet tender side to him. He is very passionate about whatever he does,” Jamie added.
